 21.1.2023 : ROOM TWENTY : Island Shrine

A short twisty path through the trees leads to a small cobblestone temple, half covered in moss and vines. Inside a narrow, stooped doorway is a tiny room with barely enough space to stand. You realise the purpose is to kneel or sit here. Low to the ground to the left, right and back of the chamber are low shelves covered in hundreds of melted candles. Beneath them, heavily encrusted by the wax, are a number of human skulls. Placed on top of the wax are an assortment of different clay jars which you decide not to meddle with. 

You decide to leave the shrine and return to the central clearing.
