 21.1.2023  :  ROOM TWENTY-ONE  :  The Jetty 

The woodland path twists right and left before arriving at a wooden pier sticking out from the end of the island into the swamp. At the end of the pier is a small boat. The boat has a mast, a sail which has started to rot but is probably still functional, and a set of oars. There is also a small chest in it containing, amazingly, clay jars full of dry but stale herb crackers. Experimenting you discover they are edible. Damp has softened them but they do not smell or taste of mould. You gladly eat to satisfy your hunger. 

Do you wish to use the boat and head further South, or

Return to the clearing at the centre of the island, or 

Leave the island altogether by foot, retrace your steps and head North?
